Summer Book Circle: Emergent Strategy
A 3 month guided book circle exploring Emergent Strategy by adrienne maree brown. Together, we’ll explore what it means to create sustainable change through relationships, adaptation, imagination, and small, intentional actions rooted in collective care.
This circle is educational and reflective in nature. It is not therapy or coaching, but a facilitated discussion space grounded in systems thinking, community care, embodiment, creativity, and personal reflection.
We’ll meet over Zoom every other Tuesday at 6:00 pm MT for three months beginning June 23rd, 2026. Alternate scheduled sessions may open as needed.
Each session will include:
45 minutes of guided discussion, reflection prompts, and facilitated exercises
An optional 15-minute open connection time to stay and chat
A light email touchpoint in between meetings
No extra apps, no content platforms, no social media
If this sounds like the space you’ve been craving, please join us for conversation, reflection, and community starting June 23rd.
Summer Session Overview
Session 1 – June 23, Orientation + Meet & Greet
We’ll get to know one another, set intentions, and create agreements for a thoughtful and compassionate space grounded in curiosity and connection.
Session 2 – July 7, Small Is All
We’ll explore the idea that small patterns shape larger systems and reflect on how tiny, sustainable shifts can create meaningful change in our lives and relationships.
Session 3 – July 21, Relationships & Interdependence
How do we build supportive ecosystems instead of trying to do everything alone? We’ll reflect on connection, reciprocity, boundaries, and community care.
Session 4 – August 4, Adaptation & Emergence
What happens when we stop forcing certainty and begin responding more flexibly to change? Together, we’ll explore resilience, uncertainty, and the wisdom of adapting over controlling.
Session 5 – August 18, Pleasure, Creativity & Imagination
How do joy, creativity, rest, and imagination support transformation? We’ll reflect on what helps us feel most alive and connected to ourselves.
Session 6 – August 25, Integration & What’s Next
We’ll reflect on what we’re carrying forward, what’s shifting internally, and how we want to continue practicing more intentional and interconnected ways of living.
This circle is designed to be lightly guided and deeply relational.
No lectures, homework, or over-doing it. Instead, you will be invited into honest conversation, reflection, and shared learning.
Investment
Total cost is $125 (~$20/session) with options to pay over time. Choose the payment plan that feels most supportive and sustainable for you when you are at the checkout screen (i.e. Klarna).
This group will be intentionally kept small (12 women or fewer) so we can build real connection.
Join book circle if you’ve been craving:
A space to talk about what you’re reading
A community of thoughtful, growth-oriented women
A more hopeful and interconnected vision of change
Gentle accountability and structure
A place to reflect on personal growth, systems, and belonging
This circle is designed for individuals who identify as women, inclusive of cis and trans women. If you do not identify as a woman but feel aligned with a women-centered space, please reach out to discuss whether this circle may be a good fit by emailing kaylyn@gentlerootswellness.com.
