MEET YOUR COACH

“Health & wellness coaches partner with clients seeking to enhance their well-being through self-directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values.”

— The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

What is Health and Wellness Coaching?

Change often begins with an inner knowing about what needs to shift. You may have already tried different approaches with mixed results. Health and wellness coaching offers a collaborative way forward.

In client-led partnership, I honor you as the expert of your own life. My role is not to “fix” you, but to guide the process of change using evidence-based methods drawn from behavioral science, cognitive-behavioral psychology, adult learning theory, organizational development, and transformational leadership.

As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) candidate, I create space for deep reflection, resilience building, and action-oriented growth. Together we work at your pace and focus on what matters most to your well-being—whether that’s burnout and stress, chronic illness, or personal growth. The goal is to help you cultivate the clarity, resources, and self-trust to move forward with confidence.

Is Coaching For You?

People come to coaching for many different reasons. Wherever you are in your journey, I honor the path you took to get here. I’d love to support you in taking the next steps toward greater vitality, however that looks for you.

I work with highly sensitive people, neurodivergent folks, and anyone seeking support with gentle change.

The best way for us to learn if we’d be a good fit is to book a free 15-minute consultation.

  • I provide burnout coaching that may be related to your job, Autism/ADHD, caregiving role, and other states of chronic exhaustion. Burnout coaching is an excellent resource for clients who desire to make changes in life that will better honor their pacing, increase capacity, and prevent future burnout cycles.

Burnout coaching can also be a strategic complement to the care you already receive from a mental health provider. For instance, while a psychotherapist may treat co-occuring depression, a coach can support you in implementing changes in life that assist your recovery.

  • Stress is at the root of many life circumstances and conditions that cause suffering. In coaching, we gently address your specific life stressors, co-create personalized ways to manage stress, and design a plan for maintaining the balance you seek in life.

When appropriate and at a client’s request, I draw on my expertise in mindfulness, meditation, and yoga to tailor resources and information.

I approach stress management as a balancing act between the actions we can control and the outcomes we cannot. As my meditation teacher says “Not too tight, not too loose.”

  • Executive functioning (EF) coaching can help you build skills and confidence in planning, organizing, time management, and self-regulation. I take a neurodiversity affirming, client-led approach where we co-create structures and systems that actually work for you.

Practically speaking, EF coaching with me offers a compassionate and inclusive space where we acknowledge limitations (including systemic forces) while also celebrating and developing your strengths to overcome challenges. One client has described EF coaching as if they “had a second brain” during our sessions!

This can be especially supportive for:

    • Neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism, BPD)

    • Burnout, chronic stress, or states of exhaustion

    • Rehabilitation following a traumatic brain injury (i.e. post-concussion)

  • Whether you were advised by a medical professional to take preventative action, or are seeking to integrate treatment plans into everyday life, coaching is a non-judgemental partnership that can assist with making long term changes that not only stick, but that can become an enjoyable new way of life.

After receiving a diagnosis, coaching can provide compassionate support and structure as you renegotiate meaning and redefine wellness in this new chapter of discovering how to take care of your bodymind.

Definitions on chronic illness vary based on the healthcare system where you live. Here I define chronic illness as a long-term health condition that significantly impacts your life such as by contributing to functional impairment or disability. Chronic illness often has complex causality and a long duration that may lead to other health complications.

    Some examples include:

    • Mental illness (depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD)

    • Autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis (RA), celiac, Type 1 diabetes)

    • Cardiovascular disease (hypertension, heart attack, stroke)

    • Chronic respiratory disease (asthma, COPD)

    • Diabetes

  • Regardless of what brought them to coaching, many people find it to be a supportive space where they can learn and grow in all aspects of life. This is because coaching broadly provides a structured framework to explore desired outcomes, set realistic goals that leverage your strengths, and align whatever next steps you take with your current values. As a result, clients feel empowered, exiting the coaching partnership with greater confidence, clarity, and self-trust.

As a coach, I facilitate a safe space for clients to explore where they’d like to see something shift. Practically, this involves an exploration of why it feels important, weighing options, and decision making around a situation that no longer feels resonant.

    Examples of growth areas:

    • Career (professional development, job change)

    • Relationships (relationship change, finding connection and community)

    • Spirituality (developing/maintaining a spiritual practice, whatever that looks like for you)

    • Finances (realizing and working toward financial goals)

    • Play & Creativity (making space in life for sources of fun, joy, and inspiration)

  • Coaching inherently offers social and emotional support to clients. This has the welcome and evidence-based benefit of boosting other aspects of their health and wellness!

Because the nature of a client-led coaching partnership does not attept to “fix” or diagnose, many clients find it to be an empowering and enjoyable space to share and be seen.

Coaching FAQ

  • Health and wellness coaching is a collaborative, client-centered process that supports individuals in making self-directed, lasting changes aligned with their values. Coaches work to create a respectful, non-judgmental space where each client is recognized as the expert on their own life. My coaching services are built around empathy, empowerment, and curiosity—not authority, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • While I bring a deep well of experience in holistic wellness, food science, yoga, herbalism, and more, I do not practice as a medical, fitness, or mental health provider. That means:

    • I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions

    • I do not prescribe medications, supplements, or protocols

    • I do not provide meal plans, fitness regimens, or psychological therapy

    • I do not interpret lab results or advise on stopping treatments

Instead, I offer a safe, collaborative space to explore your goals, create aligned strategies, and make changes that are truly your own. Coaching complements the care you may receive from doctors, therapists, or dietitians.

If you need clinical or therapeutic support, I will help you connect with the right professionals and can serve as a supportive complement to your healthcare team.

  • Sessions with me are reflective, empowering, and action-oriented. You can expect to:

    • Be met with respect, presence, and unconditional positive regard

    • Explore what matters most to you and clarify your vision for well-being

    • Identify barriers and self-limiting patterns with curiosity, not judgment

    • Co-create meaningful, achievable action steps grounded in your own wisdom

    • Experience growth at your own pace—with accountability and encouragement

You don’t need to “have it all figured out.” You just need to be willing to show up.

  • As a candidate for board certification, I uphold the NBHWC Code of Ethics, which emphasizes:

    • Client autonomy and informed consent

    • Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity

    • Clear role boundaries and referrals when needed

    • Confidentiality and privacy protection

All coaching agreements clearly define the scope of our work together, including limits of confidentiality and your rights as a client. Learn more about what a NBC-HWC does including their scope and ethics at the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching Website.

  • Coaching with me is a creative, collaborative process that adapts to your energy, needs, and readiness for change. Each session follows a natural arc based on where you are in your transformation journey.

We begin by exploring your deeper motivations, values, and vision. From there, we uncover your strengths, clarify what’s working, and begin to build internal and external resources to support your goals. Using tools grounded in the science of positive psychology and behavior change, we co-create your unique path forward.

Depending on your needs, we may design small experiments, brainstorm new strategies, or sketch out actionable steps toward your desired outcomes. You are always in the driver’s seat. I may offer gentle guidance, education, or relevant resources—but only when helpful and requested.

Throughout every session, I hold a safe space of empathy, presence, and non-judgment. I’m here to listen deeply, ask powerful questions, and provide compassionate accountability.

Coaching works best when you’re willing to reflect honestly, engage with the process, and take meaningful steps between sessions. Together, we’ll create momentum toward the change you want—on your terms, in your time.
